No Forum link in Admin

Hey Nick,

Thought I would play around with your module as you're developing it. I downloaded the source, created a new folder under Orchard.Web/Modules and pasted the files. In VS, I added an existing project to the Modules folder and pointed it at your NGM.Forum.csproj file which added it to the solution. I compiled the solution and ran it locally. I can see the module in the Modules area of the Admin. I enabled it and received a message indicating that the module has been enabled. After refreshing, however, I don't have a Forums link in the left-nav beneath Blogs.

Is there a step I missed or did I happen to download the project while it was in flux and this link is not currently not working? Thanks! Love the screenshots so far and looking forward to playing with it.

hmm...nevermind. I did a rebuild on the solution and re-enabled the module and now the link is showing up. Looking forward to using it!

Need a forum to Orchard 1.4 project. The NGM.Forum module seems promising. Unfortunately the Forum link in Admin does not show up after installation and enabling.

Please advice (!) - upgrade needed (?).

Kind Regards,

Yeah, this problem is still persisting.

Orchard 1.4.

Are you still doing this module?

I am still doing this module... But I have shifted focus temporarily to InlineEditing and Portlets which are more important. I will be revisiting the forum module soon, as as always, im taking contributions.

For the AdminMenu issue... lets talk on this thread

1. Download sources
Orchard 1.4.2

2. Unpack Orchard 1.4.2

3. Open solution src\Orchard.sln

4. Remove old project Orchard.MediaPicker from solution and from file system

5. Copy module's projects to src\Orchard.Web\Modules\

6. Add new project Orchard.MediaPicker

7. Add new project Orchard.Voting

8. Add new project NGM.Forum

9. Add references to (or copy to dst bin)

10. Download and add references to (???) (or copy to dst bin)

11. Changes in src\Orchard.Web\Modules\NGM.Forum\Routes.cs

line 159: "{forumPath}/{threadSlug}",   -->   "{forumPath}/{threadSlug}",
line 174: "{forumPath}",   -->   "{forumPath}",

Hi, I'm using Orchard 1.6, Do I need this process to enable Forum on Deshboard ?
When I recompile this project, I got a error like this:
There is not "Routable" type or namespace in the Orchard.Core namespace!

ps: I'v downloaded the latest source code.
